Today for breakfast, we are having Cascadian Farm Organic Oats and Honey Granola and Almond milk. The Aldis almond milk doesn't have carrageenan. Tested out Double Chocolate Crunch Granola by liveGfree, the gluten free Aldi brand. No kids liked it. Lesson learned. They all loved the unsweetened applesauce, though. Also the sweet whole pickles. And ramen noodles.
Amy is now sweetly and pleasantly interested in Peppa Pig on the Kindle, and I'm feeding Wayne. Time to make a grocery list and finalize my order to start the Mater Amabilis curriculum when school lets out in May. I ordered our Saxon math book set for grade two last night, at Freddie's request (he is very excited to have more math to do). I ordered from Rainbow Resource, as they had the best deal.
I have to mop the bathroom floor first thing this morning because last night we had an overflow. Amy said it hurt when she peed (watching her for more signs of uti) and then she went back and pooped, I flushed, started fixing her for bed and then I heard all the water overflowing. Both Amy and Wayne were laying on the bed crying from exhaustion by that point, so I asked Alex if he could step in. He was more than happy to (ha!). He dutifully mopped it with towels and got it plunged, so the aftermath is my job this morning. Lysol mop water running as we speak. Then, I need to clean the hall. It is so full of stuff from the weekend, especially the trip to Elephant Rocks to see my old friend Ashley Gibson Holmes that I grew up with in Old Alexandria, before we moved to Troy, and her husband, Brad, and sons, Carson and Archer. The kids had a blast and the two three year olds, Amy and Carson just played together perfectly the whole time (comical!).
